Welcome back ΑΓΣ members! I hope you all had a great and well rested winter break. Thank you for all the volunteers who gave their time to show the girls from Kyoto, Japan a tour of our campus. Everyone had a extraordinary time and many cultural ideas were exchanged! The girls were extremely appreciative and many of them hope to come back to the US in the future.
In addition, I would also like to thank all the ΑΓΣ members for spending the last part of their break volunteering at the Pasadena Half Marathon. Our volunteer work helps events like these run smoothly. I have been on both sides of the registration table, as an athlete and as a volunteer, so I understand the importance of not underestimating the power of volunteer work.
I hope everyone this spring semester not only volunteers as an obligation to fulfill their minimum community service hours, but to take this as an opportunity to impact the community. Not only will you create fun memories that last a lifetime, you will also build stronger relationships with your fellow ΑΓΣ members: may your semester thrive and be successful! Go Alpha Chapter!!
