Spirit week is May 14-18 this week.
12pm-1pm
HOURS WILL BE GIVEN OUT FOR:
attendance= 1 hr.
attendance + wear AGS gear (ex. shirt) = 2
attend+AGS wear+ be on a team= 3
*Team spots are limited. Confer with Austin Kang to confirm you will be on a team.

To prove you were attending the event,
1. Find a board member at the event to confirm attendance & stick around to cheer on our AGS Lancer Game Team!
Austin Kang will have a sign-in sheet.
So far, we plan to meet in from of the L building (between R & L Building) around 11:50am every day. If you get lost/can't find us, call Austin at (626) 316-3400.

2. (optional) Take a picture of yourself @ the Lancer event & send/give this picture to MIchelle, the ICC Rep. Send it to michelleclee22@yahoo.com
This photo will be used to earn spirit point credit for the Spirit Points competition.

World's Finest Chocolate Fundraiser - ends 05/28/12

Location: Piazza at PCC

Please note: Fundraising starts Friday, June 1st. This semester, there is only one way of doing this Fundraiser. Unlike last semester, you have to pay before you get the box. However, you will get the AGS Hours sooner as you pay. Please pick up your box of chocolate at the Piazza at Cc building on Friday, June 1. (The same time as Banquet)

This is a World's Finest Chocolate fundraiser. Some of you may be familiar with this but for those of you who are not, WFC are individual chocolate bars sold for $1 each in boxes of 50 bars. Each box is worth 50 dollars and 5 A.G.S. HOURS. You can buy as many boxes as you want, so you will get more AGS HOURS accordingly.

No late payment. You have to pay in advance so that you can get hours immediately.

Don't miss out on a fun and easy way to get hours - Sign up quickly before this opportunity fills up!
The member who sells the most chocolate bars will receive an extra A.G.S. hour!

Raffle Tickets - ends 06/01/12

max: under 30 envelopes = 5 hours
over 30 envelopes = unlimited hours
Help AGS raise scholarship money by selling raffle tickets to win a Kindle Fire and 4 $25 Visa gift cards to a variety of places.

Each raffle ticket is $ 1 each. There are in 10 every envelope. Sell the one envelope and you receive credit for 1 AGS hour! The max is 5 AGS hours.

People who sell 30 envelopes or more will get credit for all the envelopes. Ex: If you sell 31 envelopes you will get 31 hours

If you want to more tickets or want to turn them in then just come to the general meeting at the table to get your hours. Good luck with sales!

The deadline for raffle tickets is on June 1 before 6 pm!

June Flea Market - ends 06/03/12

Location: Pasadena City College

Please come and raise fund for AGS scholarship by selling donuts, sodas, candies, water, chips, etc. to locals who attend the Flea Market!

- People who sign up for the first shift and last shift will get extra hours if you can come early at 6:30am to set up or stay late to clean up.
- You will receive one extra hour if you bring a 24-pack of Pepsi products(Prefer both diet and regular products)or Aquafina (water). Any other brands beside these two will NOT be accepted.
- Members are required to wear an AGS shirt so people can identify us. We will be selling AGS shirts at our booth as well. People who don't wear an AGS shirt will be deducted ONE AGS hour.

Want to be a great helper in the AGS?? Then join the Flea Market Committee.

You will help the flea market on the first Sunday of every month. Come early in the morning to set up everything, stay late to clean up the tables, and be a great seller during the sale. You will gain extra hours, free food, and great social experiences.

Help AGS's Southern California's Student Trustee this upcoming spring by 1) driving him to local chapters at other college campuses or 2) helping him stay organized with statewide AGS tasks.

You earn 1 AGS hour for each meeting you drive him to and additional hours for however long the meeting lasts, usually an hour. Apart from hours, you get to see how other chapters function, network, and involved in statewide issues.
